Many people stopped here to take pictures and just view the nice waterfalls. It is a nice falls, not too huge or small but I think a nice place to stop after driving for hours. It won't take long to visit here. Take a few pictures, look at the stuff the vendor is selling along the rode and then go.

Ravana falls is very convenient to access as the road to Wellawaya snakes down beside it. Most other famous waterfalls need quite some trekking to get so close. There is a very nice safe bathing point in its lower reaches. Its gushing waters are an attraction for many tourists, both local and foreign. The visitors are a attraction for many monkey troops... This shows the the natural beauty by Ravana falls. So many Tory rust visit this place. Only concern is there is a small parking fee if we stop the vehicle.

We walked there from Ella and made a stop by the temple and cave on the way down. We also had lunch at the mount heaven restaurant halfway down. Quite a long walk but the view along the way was super nice. You only have to watch the traffic a bit. Down by the fall you can get to a... More

We decided to walk the whole way down to the waterfall. You walk alongside a busy main road so it is not a pleasant stroll but you get some really nice views and the going is easy. The waterfall is nice but you won't be blown away.

The falls are stunning to see. We stopped for a glance and had the best tasting sweetcorn I've ever tasted (very fresh). It's not somewhere I'd stay all day but I'm so pleased I saw it. It's beautiful to see nature at it's best and Sri Lanka's beautiful countryside. It's lovely to see how much the locals love it as... More

A nice waterfall. If you are going by car to Ella you just pass through them so go and see. There's small monkeys there. Not amazing, just very nice if you are near.
