We had great fun and fantastic views on our train trip on the Demodara Loop. Where else can you get an hour plus of entertainment with wprld class views for 20 ruoees?

Check the train schedule from the railway station. It's amazing to see the train passing the station and going through the loop.

Nice to see but I would not mark it as mist see attractions Because better to visit nin arch bridge. One of best scenery in ella.

Those restricted with time should attempt c.10km loop: Ella to Little Adam’s Peak, Tea Factory, Nine Arch railway bridge and back to Ella by following the railway tracks. Wonderful.

You can’t really see the whole loop but the excitement of the local people as they watched the train made this all worthwhile.

The Nine Arch Bridge and the Demodara Loop is located 2 and 7 kms after Ella, so you could go by train from Nuwara Eliya and get off at Demodara which is next to the main road so you could meet your driver there. But the... More
