We went to Zillertal arena to ride the amazing Alpine coaster. This is a fantastic ride lots of drops dips and bank turns. We also enjoyed a tasty coffee at the restaurant, rode the Cable cars and walked down the mountainside. Excellent day.

Of all the resorts in the valley, my favourite is the Zillertal Arena, up above Zell am Ziller. The longer reds enable you to rack up the KMs (runs 18 and 19 are great, as is the long run from the top, down to Gerlos)....More

In terms of ski rental facilites, you can find many shops in the Zillertal Arean as well as other town nearby the area. The ski boots and skies are relatively new and the shops offers insurance cover. However, the prices might be higher than the shops in the cities of Austria and Germany. If your arrival airport in Germany, I can recommend to rent your skiing equipments in Germany if it will not create to much work for you.
In terms of skiing comfort and technical services during your stay, I do like Zillertal Area. Please enjoy your skiing and apreschi (apre-ski) parties time:))
