Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small bridge which you are likely to pass when exploring the area. Pretty and scenic views. As I said the area is so small and you are likely to pass this so worth a quick stop for a photograph.

t is now a tranquil scene, but in April 1876 it marked the site where the first Ottoman was shot at the start of the uprising.

Fording a little river the bridge was built in 1813, an event that is marked with a plaque on one side of the bridge, while opposite is a similar marking the centenary.

Nearby is a monument to Todor Kableshkov, the leader of the uprising.

This is the place where it all start back in 1876. The rifle fired there. Nothing very special to see unless you are Bulgarian and would like to connect the history events and remember. Still it is on the path between different museums thus it is worthy passing through

Its an amazing place, the bridge itself is interesting and there are very nice architectural surroundings, the road behind the bridge is leading to hiking trails and the steep road with the fountain is leading into an interesting neigbourhood, hidden in time. The bridge itself is very popular in Bulgaria, its the place where the revolution began on the 20th of April 1876.

This stone bridge is amazing and it is located in the middle of Koprivshtica. Great place for taking photographs with great view.
You can reach it by walk for 5 minutes.
A must visit in the town!

It's a quiet and evocative street not far from the centre. It follows the little Byala River that was almost dry on our visit.

Nearby is a famous bridge that was the scene of the shooting of the first Ottoman in the 1876 uprising.

Passing by it by chance during our walking tour of the village, this "Roman" style bridge looks great as you wander through the cobbled streets and surrounding house museums. the photo is essential.
