This is an amazing, atmospheric place to visit. Pretty sure it is the largest underground church l have ever visited. Very photogenic and well worth a visit.

If you are in the region, this is a must see. The church is beautiful and unique in Europe. It is already impressive, and there's only a small piece left compared to what was originally built.

This church was carved into the rock of a cliff, in the middle of the village and under the then Lord's castle, in the 12th C. when the local Lord came back from the Crusades. Impressive!

This doesn't look much from the outside but is fascinating inside - though you do need to get the audio devices to make the most of it (in 4 languages I think, but definitely got them in English). Hollowed out of the ground and quite...More
