Industrial history

Very pleasant museum, and very interesting to see the old looms, and learn the long history of textiles in this region.

This small, but cozy museum is a must when visiting this area. It shows the machinery and tells the history of cloth making in Bramsche. This cloth-making factory is well known as the origin of the color, Bramsche Red. This is the red color that was used to make the British military uniforms in the 1800’s.
