It is a statue on the port of Ermpoulis where El. Venizelou meets Akti Ethniki Antistaseos and you can admire it while drinking a nice cuppa at one of the nearby cafe-restaurant places.

The location of this statute was great as that is where we turned left to the Town Hall, just perfect.

Nice sculpture, nice position in Hermoupolis, it gets your attention as you walk on the harbour. Now taken temporary but hopefully next year they will restore it to it's position

It's a monument dedicated to the Greek resistance during World War II. Not far away from Miaouli Square (Ermoupolis' central square), it's really a nice piece of sculpture.
