Stopped there for lunch & wine. The food was delicious, the wine was excellent, the view was gorgeous and the people were friendly. We spent way more than we planned shipping wine back to the US. It was worth it.

Recently went wine tasting and had a light lunch at this family run winery. The wine parings were very good and the light lunch was very tasty. We had amazing Tuscan style beans and a very lovely ravioli with a light olive drizzle. Olive oil comes from their own farm and we bought a bottle. Their cellar is apparently an old Etruscan tomb they excavated themselves. Yikes. Though I'm sure its great for wine storage, it was kinda creepy. I kept thinking about pirates and buried treasure. The owner was on hand and was a lovely lady, though between my horrible Italian and her broken English, we had a full on conversation that neither understood. Charming as it was. I would highly recommend a tour here. The cellar is a must see. Creepy, but interesting.

This visit was part of a day trip with a driver and included a short tour of the winery and lunch with a tasting of 9 wines and olive oil. Overall, it was a very nice experience. However, there are better wineries to visit.

We felt royally ripped off here. We were not informed of the astronomical cost of the light lunch and tasting. It was €40 per person. The serves of food and wine were small and when we left we felt rudely treated as we didn't purchase anything, no goodbye or acknowledgement, we had spent €120 which was not even close to value for money

This was not part of our original plan, but Driver suggested a place for lunch and brought us here. We had a lot of fun and bought a bunch of wines to bring home. I saw a vintage on the rack which we did not taste during the wine tasting venue. Asked the owner if we could open up a bottle. She agreed and the 2004 chianti rosso is excellent!! If you're on your way to Sant Gimignano or The Mall, this is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner....
