When staying in Lærdal it is nice to have a walk in this area. Unfortunately the shops were all closed when we visited (official holiday), but the just walk was still very nice.

The old part of this town looks like a Sergio Leone western movie set. It is so nice and cozy but also you have the idea of being in a abandoned village. Very nice to visit. Pretty unique place.

2014 large parts of the community were devastated by a fire. Yo still can see the traces of the disaster. There are some streets surrounded by picturesque wooden houses - mainly white in colour. There are plenty of small shops with antiquities. The town is...More

Hi, there is a bus that takes about 1 hour to get there from Flåm (a route bus with 14 stops). This website is a route planner in Norway (you can change the language to English). Just google "Reiseplanlegger Norge"
