We came in after a hike and luckily no other persons were around. The one and only pool had 38.5C which is quite hot on a sunny day. Price is 3€|person which is ok for the pool and service.

This is an out of the way place, off the beaten path, so not a lot of people, not a touristy place. Bathrooms are nice, springs are very very hot. Enjoyed being there but not sure I would go back, just not enough for me...More

This is not luxury, this is not glamour, but it is a nice tranquill and humble place to have a healing soak. Absolutely recommended.

Would highly recommend for people looking for unique experience rather than luxurious spa. Place is really old but authentic and full body massage was really good! (Thanks to male massagist). You can also enjoy the bath and a cup of tea after. Reasonable prices

We are tourists from Canada who recently visited Termas das Caldeiras on a whim while exploring the Ribeira Grande area. There was a special on that day: 35 euros for a facial, massage, and the thermal baths, so we thought we'd give it a try....More

we went as a couple for the opening of this spa, the massage girl was really nice and quiet professionnal, whereas the young lady running the place was definitely far more interested by the money we could get out of our wallet than our well-being...More
