Great vantage point to see for many kilometers in all directions. Fun drive in a smaller vehicle as the road is steep, narrow and twisting. Well worth the drive.

Definetly worth a visit while in Mallorca. We had dinner at the restaurant Ave Maria inside the sanctuary and watched the sunset. Just a few others there in the evening. Buses go up there during daytime and its probably more crowded then.

Visited this lovely place as part of a wonderful holiday to Majorca. Drive there was a real thrill for my partner who counted 30 hairpin bends. The views were awesome , you could see for miles at the top. Monastery itself is interesting, well kept...More

Inspriring sanctuary on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of Mallorca. Built in the 1300's. Road up to the sanctuary is windy but well worth it. We made it up to the top 15 minutes before the sun set. It can get a bit...More

The surroundings of this now disused Gothic church offer spectacular views across the island. The price for seeing this is a steep tortuous drive to the summit which is not for the faint-hearted. A tip for drivers - I was told that coach drivers have...More

There is a bus (local) that goes near I think, it used to go up to the top, but I'm not sure if it still runs. It might be worth checking with the Mallorcan tourism office.

Don't know how to edit these pins. They are often wrong, personally l still prefer to check locations on a real map. The Lonely Planet Mallorca map is reasonably accurate in our experience. Enjoy your holiday!
