Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited this little gem on holiday last week. Lovely array of homebaked cakes etc. Took two of my kids as well, and they had a great time sipping child-sized milkshakes and chilling out on the comfortable sofa! Lovely selection of crafts too, and it was good to see local artists and craftspeople well represented.
If you are looking for a relaxed spot for coffee (and don't forget the cakes) and a venue that truly stocks quality local crafts and artwork, then this is for you.

Luckenbooth Gallery is a great little oasis in Tarbert Scotland; you get a very warm welcome with nice tea/coffee and luscious cake! There are a good selection of crafts and paintings by local artists as well as the excellent engravings by Wilma herself the owner. We were really just passing but came upon this gallery on the way to the ferry. Very glad we stopped and took time to experience the atmosphere of this gallery that really knows where it belongs and makes you want to go in a explore. If you are lucky enough to be in the area this is a must for a short stop.

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth visiting - along towards the fish quay in Tarbert. Good quality coffee, cakes & scones are worth going for - lots of variety local artists original work - as well as jewellery to suit all tastes & budgets.
Owner is well known locally for glass crystal engraving so lots of glass on sale too.
