None of us had hit a golf ball in over a year but this great wee course near Tarbert proved just the tonic. Despite it being a Sunday afternoon and with the Scottish Series on, we enjoyed a lively 9 holes in the glorious sunshine.

As a golfing novice I was a little bit worried about playing the course but any worries I had were dispelled very quickly. What a beautiful, well maintained wee course. I thoroughly enjoyed my round as did my 4 handicap partner- it caters for all...More

My husband and son joined for a week whilst on holiday. Loved every minute. The sun was shining, the greens were well kept and the course was challenging enough to keep them amused.

When the weather has been dry for a while the course plays well but is difficult when wet. For the older golfers some of the uphill holes can be trying!!!

walked round with my husband. Lovely views and unusually it was a very warm April day so I pottered around the loch shore while he played his second round. Thoroughly pleasant experience.

Great 9 hole course. Honesty box in shed by car park. Reasonably priced for both 9 & 18 holes for visitors. 3rd & 8th par 3 holes are up & downhill (respectively) holes which offer equally challenging tee shots. Well worth a visit.

The course was in great order a credit to the green keeper. I played 9 holes and have never seen such excelletn playing conditions.

It's a fun golf course, but the bottom holes get very wet although there had been excessive rain. Watch out on the5th and 6th as the fairway is shared and they play the opposite way! A slice off the 5th will behead and players on...More

Tarbert Golf Course is definitely one of the finest 9 hole courses I have played. From the opening drive alongside West Loch Tarbert to the risk and reward final hole, each hole presents its own challenge: particularly the uphill Par 3's. The stunning view over...More
