About
The Highland Titles Nature Reserve is a uniquely funded conservation project. We sell souvenir plots of Scottish land to people all over the world and use the profits to manage the land as a nature reserve. Thousands of our customers visit the nature reserve each year to witness the progress made possible with their support. Improvements include walking trails, a 3-acre lochan, tree planting, benches along the way for quiet enjoyment of the surroundings and signage explaining the natural habitat. If requested in advance we will try to arrange for a local guide to help you find your plot, and if required, to get around the Reserve. Our vehicle is not always available and we cannot guarantee that a driver will be able to take you. Refreshments and lodging are available in a number of nearby communities.

The tour was great!! We were treated by our tour guide, Fiona (who happened to be volunteering, how nice!) and taken to our golf cart. Fiona was so patient and explained everything as we drove along. We had 4 total plots, where 3 were together and 1 was more remote. Fiona took us to the 3 plots that were together first and then the more remote plot. I’m glad we wore Wellingtons since we had to hike up to our final plot. The views were unbelievable!! If anyone is planning to visit please make sure to get a tour scheduled you’ll definitely find it to be a pleasant surprise.

What a delightful and enlightening visit!
My family and I traveled to see the plot of land gifted to me by my son in support of the work of Highland Titles in Scotland. Our host explained, along the way to my "property," the work that is being done to re-wild these areas of Scotland where native flora and fauna have been replaced with barren stands of Sitka Spruce.
Many Scots Pine and other native saplings peaked out of protective sleeves along the hillside. We explored ponds that have been stocked with trout and have quickly drawn wildlife including a sea eagle and herons as well as otter. Bird song serenaded us as we looked out over beehives and were told about the successful reintroduction of Red Squirrels and efforts to save the Scottish wildcat.
A bicycle and hiking path traverses the property, and benches are placed at resting spots with beautiful views of Loch Linnhe (loch leven upstream).
It is a wonderful place to enjoy time in nature and appreciate the work Highland Titles is doing to bring areas of Scotland back to its natural beauty. And here, with my foot on my land, I am called "Lady"!

I was delighted to finally see my estate. But I was even more delighted by Fiona's tour of the reserve. The landscapes are magical and her explanations of the work being done to conserve the local flora and fauna were brilliant. Thank you Highland titles for all your hard work. I hope to be back in a few years to see these habitats reborn.

Had a informative guided tour by Andrew around the property and got to visit my tiny plot of land (gifted to me by my sister). Love the ingenious idea to convert the land back to its original state and bring back the wildlife to the area. Well worth visiting and contributing to such great work .

Wonderful guided tour to visit my “plot” of land and loved hearing about the wildlife and re-naturalization of this land. Knowing that the purchase of my plot is helping to protect and revitalize this beautiful place- totally worth it to consider gifting this to someone.

Had bought my husband a plot & title as an anniversary gift so we thought we'd take a trip to see what it was all about. Booked a tour online & were given directions to the location. Arrived & checked in, Fiona was our guide & we set off in the buggy round the reserve. Fiona was very knowledgeable & passionate about the work being done here, yes it's an ongoing mission & will take time but it's definitely going in the right direction. She listed the many animals, birds & bees they have on site, the 'insect hotel' making it into the Guinness book of Records, took us to the exact spot of the plot & a stop off to take in an incredible view. We fully support what the nature reserve is attempting to do in transforming a once overgrown and spoilt bit of land into a beautiful and flourishing habitat for native plants and animals. Thanks Fiona for your time & all the information, we had a great visit. Keep up the good work!

Grazie mille
Hi. I've been trying to contact Highland Titles with regard to a purchase I'd like to make in honor of a family member. I've tried calling numerous times without any success in reaching someone. I've also filled out a support form (ticket ID # 2837). I'm now looking to travel advisor as a means of getting in touch with someone because it seems you answer these comments. Without getting into too much detail I'm hoping to purchase a commemorative plot for baby girl named Autumn. How do I get someone to contact me? This is really important to me and my research showed you were the company to go with. Please advise. Thanks very much.

Hi there and sorry to hear you've had problems contacting us. I've looked at the ticket and it was replied to 2 days later... slow for us, but like most companies we are running with fewer staff during the pandemic.
The reply also gave an email.
I'm not sure what number you have been calling but you could try here at the Reserve (TripAdvisor stuff comes here) 01631 740333 (but we are out on the hills sometimes) or Support on 01631294974
The original Ticket closed after a period of no contact but I have re-opened it too so take your pick of contact options :)
Sorry again

Thank you for your reply. It might interest you to know that I have a string of correspondence with Highland Titles and they informed me that thousands of Irish people go by the title of Lord yet they could not give me one example. Peter with who I have recent correspondence with offered me a full refund. He has not sent the refund. They never informed me that all the title was to hang a certificate on my wall. I purchased two plots in good faith in the knowledge that I could legally change my name by depole to Lord. Your facts are totally wrong.

Hi, sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase. Rather than a comment on TripAdvisor Q&A it would be better emailing our support team and then somebody will see your comments and be able to act upon them. I'll post a screen grab of this on to Customer Services and I'm sure they will sort it out asap. That's why we have such high Trust Pilot ratings.

It is not true that I can add the title of Lord to my name in Ireland. I got legal advise. I requested a refund for the two plots I purchased. Peter said I could have a full refund. I never received a refund. I am getting no replies to my emails. I feel cheated.
Has anybody else have the same experience. If so what did they do to get a refund?

First of all, the whole program is to support the nature reserve, not to give you the legal title of “Lord”. You receive a nice certificate that you can frame and hang in your home or office.
My family and I visited the reserve on our last trip to Scotland in August 2018. We were given a tour of the facility and had a pleasant and educational walk through the reserve with Stuart.
This is a wonderful program, run by honest people who care about the conservation of the land and animals.

My wife and I are visiting Scotland in April and would like to visit her plot.
Could someone please tell if a bus goes near, or if there are tours to the nature reserve, and
how to contact someone who will show us our plot.
Thank you.

All the answers are on the Highland Titles website but Trip advisor will not let me put in the links!!! That is silly and irritating. The page you want is called Nature Reserves - Glencoe Wood | Highland Titles Search on Google for highland titles visit glencoe
Buses stop at Duror, Dalnatrat Road End, which is 100 metres from the entrance to the Nature Reserve (walk North) You need the Stagecoach bus website plan a journey (plan-a-journey)

Hi there, no cafe yet I'm afraid but we do have a kettle in our cabin ;)
It's on the wish list, but first we need to improve our main entrance and signage, then maybe a wee shop & tea room but we are probably looking for the start of the main season 2017.
I love Eaglesham, lovely little village with a great Chinese Restaurant... or at least it was when I stayed in Waterfoot around 20 years ago!!

Friend from Australia asked me to look up her plot, we are coming over from Aberdeen on 1/09/2016. Could you tell me who to speak to to find her plot it is in Glencoe Wood, Glen Duror? Other name she gave me is Salachan. Do I require more information from her? Thank you

visit and then an 'at sign' then highlandtitles and then a dot and a com - tripAdvisor doesn't allow web links :) is the correct email to book it. A plot number is always handy too, but book well in advance as they are very busy in the summer.

Bonjour,
je voudrais devenir propriétaire d'un plots de 100m2 environ;
