- Jessica JLondon, United Kingdom6 contributionsMust do for North Wales!Could not rate this high enough. Loved meeting the llamas and going on a lovely trek - impossible not to raise the spirit. Huge thank you to lovely Sophie who was so friendly and knowledgeable. She clearly has so much love for these gorgeous animals and it’s absolutely infectious. My husband and I just expected a quick walk and a picture but you get so much more, so many llama facts that blew our minds! And finally the biggest thanks to Antonio and Dexter - our fab llamas - we can’t wait to come back!Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 July 2023
- Gary JBishops Stortford, United Kingdom13 contributionsBrilliant Black Rock LlamasWe had a lovely experience with the Llamas with our two boys. Sophie was a fantastic host who knew everything about the Llamas. Firstly we were given lots of information and facts about the Llamas and then it was time to set off on the Trek. We took Dexter and Panda with us. They were great. Our youngest son loved Panda and the kisses he is prone to giving out. Dexter was leading the way (as is always the case we were told) The trek was easy going with some lovely views and a nice photo opportunity with the mountains in background. When we returned to the paddock there was another great photo opportunity with the Llamas before being able to feed them. The best bit is saved until the end. A very special Llama, Casper, is keen to show off on the agility course. And of course, you get to join in and help him showcase his skills. A great way to spend some time in a lovely setting. Sophie was amazing, only upstaged by the Llamas. If you’re in the area, well worth dropping in for a visit (and a cuddle).Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 August 2023

- 72heleneggWalsall, United Kingdom8 contributionsWonderful!Honestly one of the happiest things we’ve ever done. Sophie led the experience for us, she was extremely knowledgeable and put us at ease showing us how to handle the llamas. My 11 year old daughter loved every second. We took the llamas for a walk, we got Panda who love to snuggle, fed them then had a go at the agility course. As a bonus we also met the tame deer they have there, never see a a deer that close up so this was a joy. We were there about 90 minutes in total. Make sure you’re dressed for whatever the Welsh weather can throw at you! A really wonderful experience, Sophie was enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 31 October 2023

We came on September 8th as part of my hen weekend in Porthmadog staying in the local Greenacres haven park. I
From the second we all arrived we were made to feel welcome by the super friendly Sophie. Sophie was bright and bubbly, full of knowledge and you can tell she just adores the llamas and her job.
Our llamas were very well behaved, with their own cheeky personalities. I got lots of kisses from my llama Panda.
The trek was fun and not too difficult.
When we got back we were treated to some lovely refreshing drinks (made us feel very special) and had a good chat with Derek who is just lovely and he told us some great stories about his llamas and his past which we all loved.
We fed the lllamas and then moved to their agility course which again was really fun. The whole group had an amazing time from start to finish.
Sophie took lots and lots a great photos on our ogonwa for us too as extra memories. The extra touches really made it an special day. Thank you so much for a great time. My casper teddy makes me very emotional.
Highley recommend to everyone!!

What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Sophie was such a fabulous host and teacher. The boys are the most fascinating , gentle creatures with such different personalities. I would highly recommend this as an outing.

Simply brilliant. The llama lady that leads this llama trek has a real love and passion for her animals. The llamas are so chilled, and easy to handle. Great fun!

We spent the weekend in Port Merion and booked this for something unusual for us to do. Luckily the weather was amazing and there were only three of us doing the trek. The young lady who took us through the routine was very friendly and very knowledgable. Our Lama was called Dexter was also super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Wow I wish we could give this more than five stars
The weather was awful but that didn’t matter at all. The llamas didn’t seem bothered by some rain
Easy to find and the tour starts with a quick talk about the llamas
Once done you get a short training session and test walk
Then a trek around the local farm land. It was so nice just to walk with these magnificent animals and so stress free.
The two wonderful people running this knew so much about the llamas and it was fascinating to learn about there ways and habits
If the weather was better then I think the views are better
What an amazing experience and I never knew llamas could jump so high
Highly recommended
