Amazing beach!

Loved this place, really clean and calm! Accessed it on foot from Greenacres so can't comment on access by car. Loved it, will be back :)

Beautiful beach and a great place to hang out with your friends. Porthmadog is a great activity place and after absailing down rocks and walking along mountains, the black rock sands is a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

A wonderful sandy beach location on a sunny day..... Ideal for people with reduced mobility as it is possible, at a sensible price, to drive vehicles onto the beach with easy access during good weather conditions. For the more able, part of the Welsh Coastal walk, wonderful.....

Our 3 family group came here 1 day. We had to pay £5 a car to park but was for all day. You can drive where you want to park on the beach. We played football and made sandcastles and the dog loved playing on the beach. If the weather had been better then it would have been even better.

Hadnt been here for over 25 years. Still the same, park on beach only you have to pay now adays. Kids still like it and there was a lot of folk about. The cafe was a bit grubby and the 2 servers seem to be disagreeing with each other so we didnt order anything from there. Visit cafe again? No.

Lovely beach that's enormous and you can drive on it also allows dogs so your pooch can burn off endless energy. It has lovely views of criccieth castle on one side and on a clear day also Harlech Castle my only niggle was paying a fiver last time I visited it was free but overall stunning beach

May seem a good idea to drive on the beach Until you nearly drive down someones sand hole Bit dirty to be honest On a Nice day Not sure you Would want cars driving past you while sunbathing Good If its bad weather to sit and have a sarnie

We visited here in a very windy day in April. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, it was so clean and it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves too.

Love Black Rock Sands. Drive your car right onto the amazing beach, miles of sand, sand dunes, rock pools, sea. We took kites, great place to fly them. Ice cream man drives up and down the beach, problem is cheapest cone is £2.50! I think a tenner for 4 average ice creams is a bit steep. Take a picnic and... More

Love coming to this beach. Great for a walk or a drive in the car. It is pricey to get your car on the beach but worth it if you're there all day or with children. No parking nearby. Toilet facilities just off the beach. Lovely long beach with catering facilities on the beach - burger van and ice cream... More
