We visited this beach several times whilst staying in Morfa Bychan. Easy to drive and park on, £5.00 for the day and having the luxury of your car nearby is worth it. You get the odd driver going over the speed limit and some dog owners go in to the dog free zone spoiling it for others but most people... More

Large beach, plenty of room and sand for kids to play in. Ideal for families wanting a day out on the beach - especially with the option of driving on the beach and parking makes it very convenient. Make sure you have a spare fiver for parking, although this covers you all day. Be wary of other vehicles, especially with... More

I was recommended this place by a friend and it sounded like a good place to stop for an hour with a picnic. In the end we stayed 3 hours and had a lovely afternoon wandering the beach and collecting shells. Next time we will go better prepared with bats and balls, windbreaker etc as you could easily spend the... More

What a great beach. Lovely and clean and huge! Plenty of room even on busy days. Drive on for £5 for the whole day, tide permitting

If you are looking for beach where you can drive onto the sands, this is it. 2 miles of glorious sands and if the tide is out, endless expanses. Clean toilet facilities at the entrance. Parking was £5 for a full day. There are a few rock pools but not many although we were very lucky to find a few... More

This beach is totally beautiful and stretches for miles! You can drive on the beach and park up for the day for £5, have bbq's and just chill out! The right side of the beach is out of bounds for dogs but the left side is bigger anyway. On the Beach itself you can buy snacks and drinks and there... More

We were absolutely amazed at how large this beach is. You can drive onto the beach and park for £5 per day. It is so vast there is plenty of room for everyone. Unfortunately, the day we went to this beach was our last full day and it was very windy and we found it too unpleasant with sand blowing... More

My husband and two daughters spent a day here whilst on holiday in North Wales. It is such an amazing stretch of beach. We parked up near the dunes and spent 4 hours building sandcastles! The ice cream van drove by so of course we had an ice cream break. Cars are allowed on the beach and from what I... More
