Old style friendly local

As the name suggests this pub is close by the station and offers a changing variety of real ales sourced from small breweries in Shropshire and Wales plus the occasional outsider. Ale is kept in excellent condition hence continuing appearance in CAMRA yearbook. Friendly banter...More

A trip into the past. Great time there warm atmosphere and welcoming.

Passed through the town twice on the day to collect friends from a near by resort. Needed to take a break from driving. Stopped at this pub and it was like stepping back into the past. Was able to have a non alcoholic drink but...More
