Best tour ever with an amazing tour guide, Jose. All experience was spotless. Horses, views, food and accommodation, we really enjoy it.
We stay with the family of this tour. And they were very welcome and make us feel as family.
Jose and Hector you need to come to Belfast to visit us. All the best Cuban family!

For sure we will repeat the experience!

Joined this wonderful tour a while ago. The tour started early with hotel pick-up in Havana.
The car was lovely and comfortable. The ride was long so there was some stopover points which was great. The guide Ariel is attentive, nice and professional. The view in Vinales was breathing-taking and the visit/encounter at the cigar farm was great too. The horse ride was longer than expected but the horses were tame so beginners no need to worry. The lunch was delicious and there were more than enough food to eat. Great local cuisine.
I would like to give a special compliment to the driver Tito, who returned my wallet left in the car accidentally. He is also punctual, nice and he drove safely. He is the BEST! I wish I would have learnt more Spanish to talk to him.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this trip to everyone who are interested to go Vinales.

We loved our tour of the Vinales area, tobacco farm and organic farm on horseback. It's a beautiful area, our guide was wonderful and it was the best lunch we had all trip!! I would highly recommend this adventure. The best part was starting early because we avoided a lot of the other tour groups.

We did a 2 day tour that included a stop at a waterfall, botanical gardens and then a tour through a Vinales tobacco farm. The positives - the landscape was beautiful and seeing the orchid gardens and doing a little hike before arriving at Vinales was a great way to break up the drive. The tour through the tobacco farm and surrounding areas was stunning. We learned a lot about how the cigars are made and spent a wonderful day riding horseback. We did not meet our guide until we arrived at Vinales. He was great. Full of energy and told us all about the area and the farms. We loved the town of Vinales and wish we could have stayed longer! We also loved the family's home we stayed in while in Vinales. What could be improved - Since we did not meet our guide until we arrived in Vinales, we were essentially just dropped off at the 2 stops prior (waterfalls and orchid garden) and not given any explanation about what we were doing, how much things cost or how much time we had at each stop. This resulted in some awkward moments of us just standing there wondering what do to. I speak Spanish so was able to sort some things out, but had to ask versus our driver helping us out. Plus, I would have loved to learn more about the orchid gardens and waterfall areas and think that our driver should have been able to tell us a bit about it. Also, because we were never told how long we could stay at one place, we were over an hour late for our horseback riding tour. I driver was very nice, friendly and drove safely. I think if the tour operator would have explained the above to me prior to the trip, it would have been better for everyone to know what to expect.

I’ve traveled all around the world from country to country on countless tours by many guides and I can say that my tour guide Adrian Serrano in Viñales was by far one of the best guides I have ever experienced. His knowledge, professionalism, and hospitality were the best I have seen but what really set him above the rest was his personality. It didn’t feel like I was being led through the beautiful tobacco fields, valleys and mountains of Viñales by just an ordinary guide but by a friend who I’ve known for years; which made the setting as well as the experience that much more beautiful. Everything from horseback riding through the endless tobacco fields, grabbing a mojito on top of the mountain to taking in the stunning sunset over the valley all made for an unforgettable experience.  I had taken a 9-day tour through Cuba with 5 days starting out in Havana, followed by 3 days in Trinidad and then leading up to my last day in Viñales. Adrian left so much of an impact I immediately wished I had not only started my trip in Viñales but spent many more days there to experience more of his insight and the town’s allure which he was very knowledgeable on. It was definitely the best day of my entire trip in Cuba and I plan on returning to experience more of Viñales all thanks to Adrian and my overall experience with him. He loves what he does and shows great pride in his culture and I couldn’t have been more honored to have met him and shared the connection I did with him. I cannot only say I left Viñales and Cuba with a great impression of the country as a whole but with a friend for life. Thank you again Adrian for being you and showing me one of the best days ever. Cheers from America!

This was the highlight of our trip to Vinales! We had a group of 11 adults and this was the perfect Day Trip. Started off on horse's riding around the countryside and to the Tobacco plantation. From there, we learned a lot about the Tobacco cultivation as well as the history behind it, and how cigars are then rolled! We were each given a cigar to smoke and enjoyed some Vitamin R! From there we hoped back on the horses and went on over to the Coffee plantation. Here we went through a very cool cave and popped out on the other side to meet the nice people at the coffee plantation. After a very fun and informative visit, we were each given some coffee to sample and then were offered fresh coffee beans to buy. Once this was done, we hoped back on the horses and were led through a series of trails to reach our freshly organic Dinner prepared for us. As the sun was setting this was a perfect meal and location to end the tour!We were given very simple instructions to walk back into town, and we all could not stop raving about the tour and how it was one of the best things we have ever done!Highly recommended if you are in Vinales, can't praise this tour enough!

This was one of my favorite things I did in Cuba. Amazing views, great horses, Ariel was an amazing guide, very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Vinales, the history of the landscape, local farming traditions and history, walked away with a better understanding of Vinales and the people that live there. Definitely wear long pants and closed shoes and come prepared for sun if it's a hot day although a good portion of the tour is in and out of shade and was not something I noticed much during the ride. Horses were well trained and easy to ride. Highly recommend

We did the silent valley tour with this tour company. Making reservations went very smoothly and also the tour itself was amazing. We were with to people and had our guide Ariel and the horse trainer with us. Ariel was amazing, please ask form him if you book the tour! His english was very good and his guidance through the valley was informative but also funny! Riding the horses was new to us, but they do the same route every day so it went quite smoothly. You end the day with a dinner in a restaurant with a gorgeous view over the valley. If you take the afternoon tour you’ll see the perfect sunset. Although it’s hot, make sure you wear long pants, closed shoes and cover your ankles! The horses will walk against and through bushes so protect your skin from scratches and insects!

If you want to go on a horse riding with horses that are well taken care of and well behaving, Knowing Vinales Tours is the place to go with. It might be a little bit more expensive than a tour your host (or anyone else) suggests, but it is well worth it, and you will see the difference when seeing other horses (and their equipment) in Vinales. Also, Knowing Vinales tours carries a license to show tourists around in the National Park (Valley of Silence), unlike some other tours in the area. This is a problem if the police happen to be around (which was the case while we were there). Many thanks to Ariel, who is a very welcoming and knowledgeable tour guide, and speaks very well English (better than I do). He made our tour unforgettable! Many thanks also to Pepito - I hope I remember his name correctly - he is the horse owner and he joined our tour. A very nice person too.
