Okay, it's not really CROWDED, but it's not a quiet intimate spot either. Salto de Soroa is pretty much across the street from the Orquideario de Soroa, and the two spots make for a very nice half-day in Soroa. The hike to the falls takes...More

Very nice waterfalls; you can just park your car, cross the bridge and start a nice and easy hiking through the forest (some steps are steep and slippery so make sure you were the appropriate footgear) which will lead you to the waterfall and some...More

The cascade has different entrances (2), one near the downstream natural pools and one near the cascade. The cascade has a viewing platform and is accesible at the foot. It has a small cave (when water is not too high) to discover the back of...More

The beautiful waterfall on the Manantiales River at Soroa in the middle of the tropical forest. Here is how they make real Cuban pina coladas and Cuban coffee served in small coconut cups (with the coffee dry-roasted and ground on site, with no electricity available).
