Dating back to the 1700's, Westerhall Estate's Rum is award winning and finest at its best. Tours are available to see the runis, waterwheels and museum. And tastings of our fine rums. At Westerhall Estate we take pride in maintaining tradition. So we still make our rums the old fashioned way, slowly, carefully, with the skill and knowledge of generations of experience. Time has taught us that you never rush a good rum. The time and care we take, you'll taste in the fine quality and flavourful character of all the products we offer.

We stopped about 45 minutes before closing and were pretty much ignored. We asked for a quick tour and were told it was too late. We asked if we could sample and were pretty much ignored. As we were leaving, the lady decided to acknowledge that we were there and said she didn't want us to leave mad. She let... More

For a small fee (I think about 2.50 EC) I had a short tour (about 15 minutes). I was by myself, but they gladly gave me a tour. It was a great opportunity to learn a little about the history of the area and about the rum making processes. The tour ends with rum tasting -- so that's a bonus... More

We stopped by Westerhall Estate because it was close to where we were staying and we had an enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable (and quite enthusiastic about the prospect of bringing sugar cane production back to Grenada), the grounds were lovely, and we had a sample of just about every rum they make. For a more extensive... More

We visited the Westerhall Distillery on a weekday morning. Tour guide Arthur was charming and engaging with his time. Interesting history that he knew quite well. Tasting at end of tour was generous. Very nice rums. Good way to spend an hour.

I had some free time after lunch one day and decided to do the Westerhall Estate tour on my own. The experience was pleasant from the moment I arrived with a cheerful greeting from Reisha. The tour itself was full of interesting details, well preserved artifacts and gorgeous scenes every which way you turned. Unfortunately I missed the name of... More

We stopped here to tour the gardens and learn about their rum. It was a beautiful day, and the tour guide took lots of time with us. We came with our cab driver, who had called ahead to say we were coming. The tour guide took us through the garden, which are planted around a number of historic machineries and... More

Unfortunately the guide wasn't there the day we went but the staff were helpful and we walked around ourselves. The little museum is interesting. The site was interesting and very pretty and the rum tasting was generous. A nice little stop on the way. There was almost no one else there so it was a pleasant, quiet time.

I am not quite sure how to describe the reception we received when we arrived, two ladies in the office , this was approx 12.15, we requested a tour, some looking at watches, one of the ladies said they were going for their lunch very soon, despite the word Smile being chalked on a board behind the lady sitting at... We visited here as part of a cruise tour and enjoyed the presentation telling us how the rum was produced. At the end of the presentation we were invited to sample as many rums as we wished! Do take some time to enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the estate.

We were on a ship excursion that included the Rum distillery as part of the tour- I'm not sure what part they were considering the distillery- it was all of the non functioning parts from the 1900's - there were about 7 tour buses including ours at the same time in the sun and heat- no AC or shade to...
