We went to the Buddy Master's Concert one night while on Cape Breton. It was absolutely wonderful and something I highly recommend. The next day we came back to eat at the Restaurant and enjoyed a lunch-time ceilidh. The food was okay, and the music...More

We stopped because several tour books listed this. Yes, it is a tourist trap but really fun. I enjoyed the interactive activities of dancing and fiddle playing. I assume at the height of the season when entertainment is live, this place hops. We were there...More

3 happy hours spent listening to a fiddle keyboard combo...a mix of reels old and new in great company. Only downside was the speed of food service but if your not in a hurry that's not so important

The food is not the tastiest and is overpriced in an area where food is already expensive. Have a coffee and enjoy the music. Browse the small gift shop. Save your meal for another stop up the road.

Not much to say that hasn't been said already The centre offers Cape Breton music sessions in the afternoon and evening during the tourist season performed by local musicians. The level of competency is uniformly good and a number are excellent. Meals are standard fare...More

Features information about Celtic Music, history and settlement in Canada. Small admission fee. Interactive exhibits teach you the beginning steps to learning to fiddle, using a real violin! Another exhibit teaches some basic Celtic dance steps.
