Although they have a great selection. Some items one can buy at the farm I can get cheaper in a franchise store. Brand name neans a lot. But then again the service was excellent.

Our second visit to this place was as pleasant as the first. The dry fruit selection is very good and the prices are reasonable. Next door is a great restaurant with good options for take out. Also in the same complex is the wine section. Very nice muscadel wines from the area. Will return if we are in the area.

Well every time we have been to Montagu and exit stop out of Montagu is this stunning and very reasonable priced factory shop.. You walk in to by 1 or 2 packets of dried fruit and you come out with a whole load of fruit and nuts as well as sweets... Very big variety of dried fruits.

Montagu being in a fairly dry area it seems that it is a good place to produce dried fruit. Montagu dried fruit is well known through the region and this is the source. The variety is amazing and some nice little additions like Yogurt covered fruit. Well worth a visit

The address (Long & Kohler) shown by TripAdvisor is to their (uninteresting) main office. The factory/shop/bistro is on 102 Bath Street, a couple of km's outside city centre. There's no Factory Tour, but you can stare through a window... :-) The (only) highlight is the shop. It's not especially cheap, what stands out is the quality and the taste.
