Sanbona must be one of Cape Towns' - make that South Africa's, best kept secrets. I was quite amazed that so few of my friends and acquaintances knew about this gem, barely three hours drive from the city. I was there to celebrate my birthday...More

You have to stay at least 1 night and it's worthwhile because it is just too vast, unlike other parks this is not a zoo. Closer by I would say Aquila but do not expect it to be the same experience.

I'm not sure as I've stayed in two other places in Sanbona. But Dwyka is a must visit and I'm sure the tens will either be air conditioned or cool enough. Don't miss out!
