So so

Some shops and restaurant along the road. Very crowded, but not with real interesting stuff to sell. Better enjoying the bars on the beach and the big thai restaurant

The Batu Ferringhi night market is a great way to spend the evening if you are staying nearby. You can find almost anything there and it goes on for ages. A lot of the shop keepers are really friendly and have fun bartering with you, when you reach the end (and your feet are killing you) take a bicycle rickshaw... More

Great place to eat in Penang. Really cheap and many cuisines to choose from but mostly Indian and Chinese!

Came here thinking we could get some locally made arts and crafts as a souvenir. Instead there was lots of imported plastic and rip off bags and wallets. Didn't buy a thing. We got a shuttle bus from the E@O hotel in the evening. There was no motivation to stay longer than the 45mins we had to catch the return... More

Lots of imitation watch, bags and t-shirts. Quality of things sold here are very poor. All the shops sell about the same things..

The night market definitely adds that extra charm to Batu ferrengi ,however be aware that mostly knock offs are sold at quite high prices.I did however manage buy some beautiful water paintings from a local artist. It's worth having a look around.

Be prepare with your bargaining power and haggle your best with local traders in Batu Ferringhi's night market. Lots of interesting merchandise to buy - DVD collection, shirts, artworks, toys, accessories, and yes, food! If you don't want shopping, just enjoy the lovely, lively night sight of the market.

A place you can go and buy knock off bags and wallets. A stretch of 1km narrow marquees that sell a variety of things. If you enjoy Bangkok and Bali night market style but in a smaller scale this is the place to be. Unfortunately we did not enjoy it as much.

I thought there was going to be more variety of local wears. Majority of the stalls carry purses and sunglasses. And wallets. And of course various clothes you see near the beach. Pants and shirts and football shirts /jerseys. Didn't buy any thing

This is a great market and the best thing is they don't keep at you. You say no thanks and thats enough for them. Tbe goods are your standard market fare.
