Beautiful beach, no rocks, you can walk in the water without hesitating, nice people around. You can either run, walk, do yoga or surf on this beach. It is beautiful!

We drove here for an afternoon swim while staying in Uvita. You can drive right up to the beach in a shaded area, and there is a lifeguard station -- two bonuses! The water was warm, the waves were just big enough to be exciting but not overpowering, and there were lots of families enjoying the area.

This was a beautiful beach. Very secluded and wild. The roads getting here are not the best. Rocks, pot holes, dirt but that's what makes it interesting and a lot less people. Since the tides shift so much when the tide is down there are natural pools that form w fish. We did some snorkeling and swimming. Amazing place! Well... More

The beach in Playa Hermosa is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever experienced. It's not too crowded and it's natural beauty is still in tact. I felt so much peace in spending time walking down the beach, laying out under palm trees and in surfing!

I caught my first waves on Playa Hermosa this year, and it was picturesque, warm, and very welcoming for a first time surfer. I absolutely loved it there. We were told to watch our valuables, which we did, and we had no issues whatsoever.

There was plenty of space to have a picnic or play in the sand, especially because there were hardly any visitors. Seemed like a place for locals or surfers. We loved laying under a tree having a beer and getting in the water

Great beach and a perfect spot to surf everyday! Waves come in a regular set, everyday, whatever the tide is... you will be able to surf with gentle waves with regular patterns. Thus, do not hesitate, you will have fun!

Just one of the beautiful beaches in the nicoya peninsula. Playa Santa Teresa and Many more in this area are famous for there year-round waves and beautiful tropical environment. Come and see it for your self. PURA VIDA.
