Relaxing

We had a relaxing couple of hours. We did the mud on the face and the hot springs. They were no HOT but very comfortable. It was a nice break in the day

The thermal pools didn't look appealing to stay. We went in and out. Didn't even try. Think you need to do some updating in areas.

Wonderful experience . First you put a natural cleanser in your face and body: mud full of minerals . After it dries you take rid of it with a bath inside warm waters, also full of mineral. The result, a rejuvenated skin and a sansation of pleasure in all you body. And it si very very cheap.

Our group of 7 drove in a rental van to El Valle to visit the mud baths. Admission was reasonable at $3US. The only mud we saw were 2 bowls, one with black (for sensitive skin), and the other tan colour, each to be self applied to your face only. The facility was built some time ago and looks tired.... As reported in other reviews, on occasion, the hot springs are not. That was the case the day we aborted our visit

It's pretty cool to see, because of the natural scenery in the background. The hot springs are not natural though, and it was way too crowded. It would have been cool to have the volcanic mud facial, but, there was a lot of people in there and we decided not to do it. The person at the Hot Springs that... More

This is a small hot spring, once you enter you are directed to the mud pots, there are 2 one for sensitive skin (black) and (grey) for normal skin. There is a mirror so you can see your application. you then go over to a small pool where you sit and soak your legs, and wait for the mud to... More

This is a great place to go for a soak. You can bring a picnic, enjoy the grounds, get all mudded up or, as we do, just enjoy the pool. We went the other day, and as we paid, they were kind enough to tell us that the water was a little cool...to go try it out, and if we... More

Good place for a mud bath. Takes about 2 hours. Several mud pools. Good to say, "Been there, done that." but not a destination all in itself.
