Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We like Faliraki main beach as it is soft sand, relaxing and has good amenities close by, however Kathara beach is super close (3 min walk) to our accommodation so we decided to visit today (Friday 30-Jul-21).

Nice and quiet, with plenty of sun beds available all day, costing the usual €10 for 2 beds, 1 table & 1 umbrella. A lot less busy that Faliraki main beach, mainly due to it being on the edge of town, so a little further to travel for most and the fact that it isn’t soft sand it’s like a fine gravel, so not as user friendly. The ocean area is surrounded by rocks, lots of rocks, so again it isn’t as user friendly and not too good for younger kids.

Good amenities close by with a well stocked shop, a couple of tavernas, shower & foot washing areas as well as a public toilet (cost ?)

Overall an average beach in our opinion.

A reasonable beach with good facilities, especially the restaurant in front of the Paradise Apartments. I walked north along the beach from here all the way to Kallithea and this was the best beach along that stretch. Particularly good for families. The nudist beach of Mandomata about 10 minutes walk south is more attractive and slightly better for swimming.

One part is sandy, other has rocks inside water. Small, not very attractive, gathers people from near-by hotels, olet middle-class.

Small, calm (good for relax), medium steep, dark sand, clean, showers available, no waves, no water sports, not busy, service on beach (Kathara beach cafe), llittle pebbles and loads of stones for snorkelling.

Being next to the harbour and old town Faliraki added to the charm of times spent here. Fresh water showers and being able to use your sunbed ticket along the coast add to the appeal to drop in whilst passing.

Peaceful beach, no waves, see-through water, sand beach with some little rocks. There are also some little fish but they are the same color as the sand and they stay very close to the ground, so you can't see them unless you have goggles.

No Guide talks about it and I don't understand why. Discovered by chance running away from the crowd of some adjacent beaches (Faliraki and Ladiko). Pleasant discovery. Sand and gravel with amenities, few people and excellent taverns in front. Sea slightly warmer than other beaches (so perhaps not suitable for very hot days). Cost umbrella + 2 sunbeds 20 euro. Free parking space

It is a quiet beach where Greek families go, especially in the late afternoon when it is rare to see tourists.
Then, to enter the water, the left side of the beach has a rock-free area.

Very pleasant beach, fine sand and crystal clear water, bars, restaurants and small supermarket nearby. Shower and deckchair for 10 euros per day. Quiet and frequented by locals, magnificent place to relax
