High technology, incredible effects and virtual realism in the most State of the art 9D! The Throne of Helios combines cinematic experience and a free entrance thematic area with historical exhibits and screenings. This unique combination of historical tradition and high technology, takes place in the historic building of the old cinema St. George on March 25 street, which was the first moving pictures theatre in Rhodes, built in 1927 during the Italian rule.

Me and my wife have been to a few of these type of experiences in different areas of the world and this one was just as good as the others. There are two short films, probably last 30mins in total and have everything you expect from a 9D film, movement, sounds,3D experience etc...
Great way of learning some history of the island in a fun, interactive way. Also if it's a hot day outside,it's a great way to cool off. Don't want to ruin it,but part of the 9D is water,not to much,but enough to cool you down.
Definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys interactive 3D type films

There were two, 3D films that were all together about a half hour long. One first was more for adults and the second was animated and was funny. My 6 year old loved it and my 5 year old didn’t like the seat movement. It’s a very Disney World-like experience. They do have seats that don’t move. We got a discount coupon for it at the aquarium.

Went in on a whim as we were passing by and really glad that we did. We have never experienced anything like that before.
It was really really cool and highly recommend visiting. The environmental effects added to the rollercoaster type action of the seats was awesome.
The 3D history of Rhodes was very interesting and the race at the end was nice, however, a bit longer on the history of Rodos would have been great, as it was such an enjoyable experience, good experiences end too quickly.
No pics as you really need to see it in action.

Fantastic experience! Took friends who hadn’t seen it before the squeals and cried of delight were priceless! My 5th time, it’s just gets better and better every time. A must for any visitor to Rhodes!

Took my 10-year old daughter to this - she loved it although she said she was a tiny bit scared at one point. A little overpriced for what it was in my opinion, and glad the husband and teenager went elsewhere for half an hour as he would have just rolled his eyes at it! We liked learning more about some of the places we’d been whilst on holiday.

Such a fun place! When we came we had tons of fun both parts. I recommend to do this if you go to Rhodes! Experience was awesome from the beginning and the effects were so cool.

Had an idea from a friend to visit and I have to say the experience was extremely fun.im a solo traveler here in my late 30s(I'm almost ashamed to admit)and I really felt like a kid again.a really fun way to enjoy the history of rhodes I won't spoil anything for anyone.im sure it's aimed more for families and kids but I thoroughly enjoyed being a full grown adult.special mention to Inna who was very friendly,energetic, cool and extremely stylish but thanks to all the employees,was a very nice experience.

Dear friend,
​I would like to inform you that we have 2 movies.
"The Throne of Helios" is the history of Rhodes. The movie length is 20 minutes and it starts from the birth of island in Greek mythology until today.
It costs 10 € for the adults and 6 € for the kids under 12.
Right after we have a short film, about 5 minutes long, which is called The Rhodes Race. It is a horse race between you and the 12 gods of Olympus. It is very funny and it moves a lot. Usually costs 5 € but if you wish to see them both is going to cost you ONLY 3 € more.
Until May the 15th we are open Monday to Tuesday from 11.00 till 19.00 and Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11.00 to 22.00.

En Avril Il y a un spectacle chaque 30 minutes à partir de 11:00 jusqu’à 19:00 dans toutes les langues au moyen d’une prothèse auditive. Vendredi, samedi et dimanche nous sommes ouvertes jusqu’à 22:00.
Je voudrais vous informer que nous avons 2 films.
"The Throne of Helios" est l'histoire de Rhodes. La durée du film est de 20 minutes. Cela coûte 10 € pour les adultes et 6 € pour les enfants. De plus nous avons un court métrage d'environ 5 minutes, ce qui est une course de chevaux entre vous et les 12 dieux d'Olympe. C'est très drôle et ça bouge beaucoup. En règle générale, coûte 5 €, mais si vous souhaitez les voir tous les deux, vous coûterez seulement 3 € de plus.
