Throne of Helios offers a 9D cinema that is about 25 min long if i remember right.
Prices are 10€ and it's worth is since you get to learn more about Rhodes history and get an unusual experience.
One thing they should offer doh is a student discount.

I've been to Rhodes many times so know a lot of the history, but still found this experience fantastic. The 9D part means that you feel earthquakes, rain, snow and wind. It's really well done. If you enjoy knowing a little about the history of the place you are visiting I would say this is a must see. It really brought the history alive especially the parts about the old town and knights palace. It's only 20 minutes long and currently costs 10 euros, but having been I feel it was well worth it. There is also a lot of other information about the island on display so you could spend up to an hour hear. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Great experience, a fun and engaging way to learn about the history of Rhodes. If you can't find this place, head to the harbour front, look for Starbucks and it is situated just behind. The staff here are exceptional, we found them extremely helpful. Particularly the man that was working inside the actual cinema. When I walked in and saw seatbelts on the chairs, I was concerned because I have a broken bone in my neck and sudden movements hurt. The lovely man was really helpful and turned my chair off for the 'earthquake' and came to check on me twice during the show. I wish I had his name but forgot to ask. If he is reading this, 'Thank you for the great customer service!'

Very good experience, I was expecting the standard 3d plus moving chairs, WRONG this was far beyond that.

As tourist coming from a cruise it is tempting to start walking the medieval streets, but if you start your visit here you get the history of the City and get a glimpse of modern Rhodes outside the walls.

The place was empty and we had kind of private show for my group, with no waiting to fill the room. Just took a couple of minutes to set the language and ready to rock. Meanwhile we read the cards and little exposition in the lobby area, very interesting facts there to complement the film.

A week after being here, we where in Athens and could not stop making references to the Thrones of Helios teachings, that was my proof that was a good production made to be remembered.
