Day Trip to Lindos with pickup from Rhodes, Ixia, Ialyssos, Kallithea, Faliraki

116 reviews
Heading to Lindos from other parts of Rhodes often means choosing between hire cars or the fixed itineraries of tours. This experience provides the best of both of worlds: return coach transport combined with ample free time to enjoy the whitewashed town, its Acropolis, and beach as you wish. A handy Lindos map, Rhodes Town hotel and port transfers; and hotel transfers from Ixia, Ialyssos, and Kallithea are included.

A very interesting place, loads of history and historic buildings to see, you can also sit down and watch the world go by or watch the ships/boats sail in and out.

If you want a break from exploring Old Town Rhodes the harbour is a nice place to take a break. We had lunch at the restaurant next to the harbour just across from the city wall. It was a nice well run restaurant and the food was great. Just beyond we’re the windmills which are very photogenic and worth seeing and finally an old fort at the end. Unfortunately this isn’t open but it’s still a great location to see the harbour entrance and watch the boats. Definitely worth adding on to a walk round old Rhodes

A big harbour which is nice to walk around. You can walk all around the harbour taking in all the boats big and small. There are plenty of stalls offering boat trips around the island or just to go fishing on. It's down by the old city with bars, restaurants and shops all close by. It's a nice way to pass time, taking in the views of the sea and looking at the stunning scenery nearby. We walked to the harbour nearly every day and found it so relaxing, a must place to visit.
