Our family visited the winery in 2010 and have shipped their excellent wine home to NJ several times.

The Owners & employees of this small, family owned winery were very friendly and the tour was extremely informative. Best part is that you can buy wine and olive oil from them and have it shipped to you, and you can reorder directly to winery from the US and replenish your stock (no distributor restrictions). No customs hassles. Very easy.

This vineyard is an absolute must. Took about an hour from central Florence to arrive there by coach. One there the owner / sommelier was very informative and the wine was excellent! We got a taste four different wines plus balsamic and their own organic olive oil, which was delicious. We also got to purchase some beautiful chiantis from the... More

We have been to Poggio Antico several times over the years and it never disappoints. The grounds are beautiful and the people are awesome. Each time we have visited we have had an opportunity to taste the latest offerings from the winery and have enjoyed the wines immensely. The winery boasts many classically rated wines that are sure to please... More

We went to Poggio Antico for a tour and tasting. It was a well run and informative tour. We walked through the bottling plant and the cellar to learn about the process to make Brunello. The tour was in English and our guide was fluent and very knowledgeable. At the end of the tour there was in tasting in their... More

We happened, almost accidentally, upon Poggio Antico during our trip to Tuscany and it ended up being one of the best outings during our entire trip. The estate is beautiful and the people there are the nicest I have ever met. We continue to stay in touch with them upon our return to the States. Not to mention the wine!... More

As I am in the wine trade, my view is kind of biased. Even though the house style of wine is much lighter than most Brunellos, the place is beautiful. The tour is fascinating, and the wines delicious.

Beautiful overview of the property, tour of production and tasting.A view of the Mediterranean can be seen from The wines and oils are good but we did not liberate any for travel to the US Recommended

We signed up for the 4-wine tasting with the tour of the winery. If you are looking for an old-style, musty winery, this is not the place for you. This winery is very much a technologically advance and immaculately kept one. The young lady who guided our tour was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. However, the highlight was...
