Trip with friend and our two daughters.

Very pleasant trip. Kindly staff, who assisted with a wheelchair in our party. Luckily the weather was dry, as I don't think we would have got the best out of it if not, as we... read more

It was one of those days when you do not know whether to try something or not. I went up on the cable car and when you get to the top there is a café and a lot of nice views but my favourite thing was going up on the cable car. Matlock itself is in beautiful countryside and you... More

Very pleasant trip. Kindly staff, who assisted with a wheelchair in our party. Luckily the weather was dry, as I don't think we would have got the best out of it if not, as we couldn't visit the cave because of mobility problems.

Excellent facilities, all kept on good clean condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Cave experience worth a visit. Fantastic views from the top. Use the cable cars - very novel way of travel up there. All in all, I could not fault it at all - that's unusual for me!

This is our 3rd visit . My husband surprised me on my birthday with the Valentine afternoon tea. We were greeted with Proseco followed by Prawn cocktail , wontons and a selection of sandwiches and cakes. These were all delicious . I would recommend this to anyone if this is done again. The trip on the cable car is wonderful great... More

A nice day out although very cold and snowy on the day we decided to go. We went up to the Heights of Abraham and had a lovely afternoon tea. My husband then dragged me into the cave which I was less than pleased about but it actually wasn't too bad for my first ever cave experience. I would probably... More

Visited with grandparents and children today. Arrived early and no queues. All really enjoyed the cable car ride and great mixture of indoor and outdoor activities once up at the top. Quite exposed so be prepared for the elements! It is pretty pricey, but a unique experience and lots to engage all ages on a nice contained plot. We spent... More

Great family adventure. The cable car was fun and not to scarey. The mine tunnels were awesome. The kids loved the play parks.

Well worth the money, a great little activity for half-a-day or so. Be warned there's lots of walking involved but well worth it for the beautiful views Matlock. Highly recommended :)

On an overcast day you don't get the best views from the cable cars, but the potential is there on clearer days. Very little queuing as there are quite a few cars constantly circulating. It helps if you're nimble enough to jump into a moving car, but the operators do stop them for anyone who needs more time to get... More

Visited today (Sunday 19/02/17) on a fairly overcast day. Matlock Bath was very busy with 'bikers' and tourists and to be fair looks like a run down seaside town. We managed to find a parking space at a cost of £5.50 for all day (make sure you have correct change). Other prices for less time available but all odd prices... More
