We visited in November and were really lucky with the weather despite it raining the day before and the day after. At this time of year, you have to be aware of the fallen leaves which when wet are slippery. This is about 3 miles...More

This is a very pleasant walk, especially if the weather is good. It was a light relief to get away from the amusement arcades, bikers shops and overload of fish 'n' chip shops in Matlock Bath.

Plesant walk after dinner away from the busy road. Especially nice in the week days before illumination weekends as tge lights ate on without the crowds.

Lovely walk along the river good views and scenery. Just keep half an eye on your feet for the dog crap people haven't picked up (I have dogs and have no patience for those that allow fouling somewhere like this)

The walk is approx 2 miles - but I suggest strong shoes as it was up steps which were very slippery (it was October with lots of leaves about). It is a strenuous walk up and then down it was fine (but still slippery if... More
