About
Honeysuckle Farm is a family owned and operated open farm in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are an open farm. Not a farm park so if you visit us expect to see a real working farm with a commercial herd of cows and a flock of commercial sheep. We also have goats, fish ponds, play areas, horses, a café and many picnic areas. We have been open for public visits since 1992 and we offer a unique and quirky experience of what it is like to run a farm with all its fun, challenges and tribulations in the present economic climate. If you want anthropomorphised animals try a theme park. If you want the real deal then visit Honeysuckle Farm to feed animals, play, explore and chat to the farmers. We keep prices very reasonable - compare us to other attractions - and believe that we offer good value for money - feel free to bring a picnic and you can stay on the farm from opening at 10am to closing at 5pm if you like. Give us a try. we look forward to seeing you.

A wonderful family day out with something for everyone
We had a wonderful visit to Honeysuckle Farm. It was a fantastic day out and enjoyed by all ages. The animals are in tip top condition and seem very well cared for and look happy and healthy. We enjoyed feeding them with the special feeding pellets we purchased on arrival. The farm is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. There are lots of hand washing facilities and the toilets are nice and clean too. There’s a cafe on site too which we didn’t visit as we had already eaten, but it looked lovely and smelled nice walking by. I absolutely recommend this as a family day out and would visit again myself.

    Great for young children
Visited with our three young children over the summer holidays. Very reasonably priced and lots to do. Lots of play areas and a good amount of animals. We could have stayed longer than the 3 hours we did but my toddler was ready for a nap! Look forward to returning next year.

A great family friendly day out
An absolutely fantastic day out with lots to do. Feeding the animals and the fish is great fun and den building in the woods keeps the kids occupied for hours. The cafe has a lovely selection of food including homemade treats with plenty of seating and lots of outdoor benches for a rest or a picnic if the weather is good.

Well worth a visit.
My wife and I visited with our 8 year old granddaughter. Staff extremely friendly with lots to do including a variety of slides, tunnels and climbing apparatus for children.
There were a selection of horses, sheep, goats, pigs, geese and even a fish pond. At the end of the trip is a lovely warm cafe selling a selection of drinks, fresh sandwiches and cakes.
There are so many things to see and do with no shortage of seating for tired parents/grandparents. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly making this the ideal place to visit with children of all ages and it represents excellent value for money. Just remember to bring wellies and waterproof coats if there is a chance of rain. (Having said that, we visited on a day when it had been raining earlier and it wasn’t too bad).
The perfect family day out.

Great day out with the grandchildren aged 5 and 2. Five hours of fun around the hay bales, feeding the goats and playing outside. It is weather dependent though.

The cafe was lovely. Specifically made me fresh food with alternative ingredients to avoid my allergy.

I last visited Honeysuckle Farm 20 years ago with my own children. In those days we fed the animals and mostly entertained ourselves. Today I visited with my grandchildren and couldn’t believe the change. There was SO much for them to do. Feeding the goats is still a big favourite, as is feeding the fish. Playing on the hay bales in the barn was a massive hit, either using it as a maze or a jumping challenge. So many play areas to choose from, with forts, slides, climbing activities, a maze etc. Plenty for everyone, so it was non-stop activity. The picnic areas are great and the cafe is lovely. Lots of animals to see….the chipmunks were an unusual addition. Lovely clean toilets and hand washing facilities. I can’t praise it highly enough.
