Great bar/pub
Sep 2020 • Couples
Warmly greeted by bar staff and shown to last table available. Querky pub with lots to look at, especially the different types of seating. Plenty of choice of beers inc draft stout. Reasonably priced so all in all really enjoyed this place.

Excellent & friendly little bar

We went to the Stackhouse twice during our holiday in Hornsea. Friendly bar staff, a very good range of real ales & ciders at reasonable prices. Relaxed & welcoming vibe. Highly recommended.

Great Venue & Staff
Aug 2020
I came across Stackyard Bar when in Hornsea last weekend. We were a party of five and were seated comfortably. The venue is really cool and attractive. The variety of seating (including cinema seats) is great and there was a lot of interesting items around. Drink options were good and I had a speciality lager which was delicious. The gentleman on the bar was very welcoming and friendly and it is definitely somewhere I would visit again when in Hornsea. The place was very clean and spacious and I felt very COVID secure. Recommended.

Warm and welcoming
Feb 2020 • Couples
The review title I have used is for both the bartender, Andy, and the locals in this friendly bar. We were six in number of humans.... plus a Labrador who mooches around and likes to meet and greet people!!! We were made to feel very welcome here and not as if we were “strangers in town”, although that’s exactly what we were - weekenders at a local Lodges site. The elderly dog in our party was made a fuss of, which he loves, and locals interacted with us all too. The beers are marvellous; really well kept and at reasonable prices, bearing in mind the excellent quality of the products. We watched the rugby on a huge screen and then came back again the next day as we had had such a good time. We’ll definitely come back.

Hidden gem!
Oct 2019 • Couples
A typically brilliant real ale pub hidden away in a narrow ginnel.
Lots of cask ales so spoilt for choice. Retro decor. Dog friendly and a relaxing atmosphere where you could stay all evening. Highly recommended.

Something different
Jul 2019
Quirky and welcoming a great little place to try a gin, they have a huge range or some real ale. Relaxed atmosphere and several board games to keep you entertained if you so desire. Highly recommend.

Great little Bar
Aug 2019 • Couples
Stumbled upon on this bar by accident.
Hidden between 2 buildings down a sneaky little alleyway. Step too far or blink n you'll miss it.... And that would be a great shame!
Quirky décor, with a great selection of real ale and craft, if you're into beer, this place is not too be missed!
