Breathtaking view onto the North Sea and the white cliffs. As we passed it in a winter's, windy day we didn't stop, but the view is worth a visit any day.

Joss Bay is a lovely clean beach with lots of sand and no pebbles (just how I like it!) the only let down is limited parking in the height of summer and not many shops/restaurants near by as there is at other nearby beaches.

Joss Bay is a beautiful spot, the beach is nice and sandy, and you have the white chalk cliffs of the Thanet Coast, Kings Gate near by. It is the longest chalk coast in England. It is beautiful, must visit. It was quite empty on our visit, but with such a lovely beach it must be very busy on a... More

Really nice beach opposite North Foreland Golf Club and although only one small shop it does carry all the necessary equipment for a day on the beach - nets , buckets and spades ........ Reasonably close to the Captain Digby pub which has reasonable family food and beach shelves gently although can get a bit rough which is when the... More

Joss bay is a really pretty beach. We recently went down for a local festival, the beach was clean and full of people enjoying themselves. It's always clean & has great views.

This beach was desserted on a fabulously sunny wednesday. Nice clean sand but lacks amenities in my view.

Sheltered sandy beach ideal for couples and families with young children. Clean beach with no dogs allowed at any time. Lots for the kids to do,activities on the beach such as bouncy castle but also include the Joss Bay Surf Club. Good cafe on hand for ice cream and lunches. Joss Bay has lifeguards and designated swimming area.

Beach was clean, features a nice backdrop against the cliffs which make for excellent family photos. The sea was calm at the time we went so I was able to take my toddler into it for a splash around. Parking was also easy and free on the road leading to the entrance to the beach.
