Broadstairs is a lovely village on the South-east coast, sheltered from chilly northsea wind's. There's choice of three beaches, all easily accessible. Mind the tide of about 3 metres which means it floods major areas, up to the sea defence but at low tide you...More

Unlike many British seaside resorts, the beaches in Broadstairs do not have cars as their backdrop, which completely spoil the ambience and healthy atmosphere we town folks desire. Stone Bay is lovely and I visit this beach two/three times a year

A lovely Beach, with a cafe, Lifeguard & toilets at the top of the cliff in Summer. We made a point of taking our welly boots & having a good explore of the rockpools at a very low tide.

Just round the corner from Viking Bay, the harbour and the town, lies Stone Bay. It is a sandy beach with rock pools at low tide and a promenade under the cliff for easy walking. Clean and pleasant.

For a change, we spent a couple of days on the beach in Stone Bay last August. Excellent sunshine meant we could stay until after 4pm.

This is a beautiful beach to walk along out of season. I think at peak holiday times I would give it a miss.

Take a stroll along the clifftop walk or on the sea walkway and enjoy the waves lapping by sitting on one of the many seats.

This is the second beach we visited during our trip to Broadstairs on 15th September. We walked to this beach along the Harbour Car Park road. There were just a handful of people on the beach. We did not see any toilets on this beach,...More
