Great fun on a family stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) lesson. Lesson lasted 90 minutes and started with safety, before moving on to how to use the board and the paddle. By the end of the lesson we had all fallen off but we had also all managed to stand up and paddle. The coach was fab - clear explanations and encouraging, keeping an eye on the group (6 of us) and helping where needed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The school is right on the beach with changing rooms and lockers and all kit was provided. We all had a brilliant time! Highly recommended.…

Helpful staff - went out of their way to make sure we were able to get a booking and our group were happy. Very relaxed environment on arrival, made us feel at ease (as complete novices!), and we could enjoy the beautiful views as a group, and actually manage to stand up on the paddle board! Would definitely come back again :)…

My 8 and 12 year old had a paddle board lesson today. They were supposed to have a surfing lesson but there were no waves. They didn't mind, they had the best time! The coach was knowledgable and brilliant with children. He made sure they were safe and had a great time! Huge thanks! I would highly recommend!…

With social distancing the major consideration during the Covid emergency, why do the lifeguards devote more space to the surfers( I counted 7 yesterday) than the hundreds of swimmers bunched together in the area between flags. Plus the Lifeguards kept announcing over loud speaker system for hundreds of swimmers to keep out the surfer area Also, when keeping beach goers apart as much as possible, the surf school have so much of the beach Might be fun for the few, but health of the masses surely should be paramount.…
