Not mind blowing I'm sure for international visitors, but worth the trip out of Belfast to explore. Great for kids, mostly flat, but some 'falling in pond' hazards for little ones. Gardens look great. Cafe adequate.

Beautiful gardens and perfect place for a walk. The Gallery is worth a visit. The coffee shop is difficult to get seating in when it's busy and the Sunday hours aren't great. Best to check in advance. There's a small gift shop too. Parking is...More

Lovely gardens by the river, courtyard café with indoor & outdoor seating, colourful formal gardens, ponds and miles of woodland walks, all dog friendly.

There is only a ruin of the Castle which burned down at the start of the 20th century. You mainly see and enjoy the gardens.
