This is one of those 'attractions' that depends on what you know and the weather conditions under which you visit. If you know anything about WW2 and the creation of the Royal Marine Commando units, their training and missions, this fine memorial/sculpture should strike a...More

We dropped by on our coach trip...definitely worth it. Take care as easy to trip whilst trying to photograph it. The memorial is great, do read the information board about how it came about. The nearby memorial garden is interesting too.....a good car park too!

This was just a quick stop on our tour. The monument is very nice with plenty of parking and the beautiful highland mountains in the background.

Statue commemorating the many contributions of the Commandos WWII to the present. The area chosen for this statue is situated in a beautiful area with a wonderful surrounding view.

It' slightly uphill from the car park, but if she takes it slowly and has help she should be ok. Failing that, the monument is fully visible from the car park.
