If you like hiking, like I do, you won't want to miss this hike which is located not far from downtown Oliver. Great view and level of difficulty is very reasonable.

I started the hike from Covert Farms, through their beautiful vineyard. The trail is mostly well marked and gains elevation gradually, ending with a panoramic view of the valley. I did see a rattlesnake by the namesake lake. After hearing the distinctive sound and spotting...More

We tackled this hike on a warm afternoon in early October. We are fairly inexperienced hikers, so it was somewhat challenging for us. In total it took about four hours from Covert Farms to the bluff and back. There's quite a bit of up and...More

This is a fairly easy trail to complete. We did it in early may and the trail was absolutely covered in beautiful flowers. The view from the top was great, but I enjoyed the beauty of the trail even more!

I went up with my six year old. It took us a lot longer than they estimate - I'm not fit and he's, well... six. It's steep in a lot of spots so we would rest after each climb. Completely worth the sweat and 3-day...More

We didn't know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. Beginning at the trailhead at Covert Farms, we enjoyed the hike up the mountain to Rattlesnake Lake. The wildflowers were bursting into bloom amid the sage brush and oregon grape and Ponderosa pines. Dark...More

We hiked this trail on a cool November afternoon. We started out late and came back in the dark, but it was worth it. We got the late afternoon sun shining on our faces. So now the details. Drive up Seacrest Rd, from Hwy 97...More
