Great views and swimming. We did it late afternoon and skipped the crowd. Kids loved it! Even with nos too much water in the waterfall it was worth it. Beautiful!

Really good place to Swim and Experience swimming through a waterfall if you fancy. My first ever swim through the powerful water of a waterfall, very refreshing and fun.

The falls are easy to climb to (after a 200m swim) and refreshing Going higher I think can be dangerous. The lake itself is refreshing and the whole area is beautiful and relaxing, with special note to the ferns growing and dnagling from the rocks in the canion.

The waterfall and the pool below it is really beautiful, but don't go there during a brasilian feriado! The number of people being there with you takes the fun out of being there...

While in Chapada Diamantina we've visited a few waterfalls. This was our first one, probably due to the easy access. We went for a swim on its cold waters, which was very welcome on a hot day. The water is black due to sediments of the roots of plants of the region (as it was explained to us). The is... More

Wonderful hike on good trail with 2km of climbing and 4km of traversing across the top of the Mesa to the top of the falls and then return by same trail.

A very convenient short day tour next to Lencois. Agencies usually combine it with other afternoon tours. It's a pleasant 20-25 minutes walk towards the waterfall, we did it with my 2yo daughter on my back. You should see how we were all amazed when swimming in the pool that was full of minerals. Pleasant to see but also to... More

We stopped here on our way to Pai Inacio and it was very worth it. The water is brown from the organic material dissolved in the water and you should not jump in the pool although it is very deep. Watch out for the monkeys that are not really afraid of you and come pretty close.

We were there with 4 boys (ages 9, 11, 11 and 14). They had a great time going behind the waterfall and swimming in the "pool" formed by it. Not as amazing as some of the other ones we went there, but also very nice.

Thank Leticia S
