The beach is so hard to get to, the drive is pure torture, and for the walk you need extra preparing and good climbing shoes and clothes. The view from above the beach is amazing.

Agia Galini Beach is not a sandy beach so you must wear your water shoes even when you go in for a swim. The water is a crystal clear blue so worth a swim.

This is a Nice beach made of stones, clean and clear waters, lots of fish around your feet. Plenty of businesses open in the summer

This beach has restaurants, shops and bars along most of its length. There is free car parking by the dock in Agia Galini. The beach is mostly shingle, and I would suggest wearing sandals until close to the waters-edge, the water was warm. You could stay on the beach with plenty of space around you, some of the bars offer... More

the beach is quite rocky at the far end and more sandy closer to the village. the walkway needs some repair and hopefully the town can put some money into putting some sand on the beach and fixing the walkways.

This is a nice beach which goes for one mile east of the town. It has several resorts and a camping and numerous tavernas and bars. In spite of this it is relatively quiet. The water is calm and very clean. There are some stones and pebble but toward the village is sandy. A good place to spend a day.

Came for the day, we drove our car from Plakias (around 1hr 20). Had a claustrophobic feel to the town, restaurants and shops tightly packed in a small environment. I imagine in high hot season having an evening meal wouldn't be fun. Plenty of choice within short distance of each other so prices are keen. We walked around to the... More
