Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Saturday 31st July and we had been on an organised boat trip which included a visit to Navagio, Shipwreck Beach. On the return leg of the journey of the tour and this beach/harbour was the lunchtime stopping point.

Situated in a picturesque bay the beach itself is a narrow strip of shingle beach

There was a sign that said free sunbeds, but that was only for guests of the Tavernas. There was still ample space to spread out towels and beach mats.

A number of guys were offering boat hire along the beach. The prices did vary depending on how much they thought they could charge, no price list.

Rather than take an organised tour, it was possible to get a trip from here to Shipwreck Beach and back.

There is only a few Tavernas, coffee shops and a supermarket here, not much else.

It was pleasant enough sat on the beach enjoying the views of the bay.

Travellers can catch the ferry, from the Port, to Pesada in Kephalonia.

Nice stroll the road at the top of the beach over to the Port.

There is a small but nice beach here which can get busy due to boats coming and going to the beautiful blue caves and shipwreck beach nearby. I was relieved to have my swimming shoes to hand because there were lots of sea urchins to dodge. There are restaurants, a supermarket and a couple of souvenir shops. You can also rent your own boat and kayaks from here.

This is a beach with some restaurants but it is also used for boat tours (inc. glass bottom boats). We went there to pick up the motor boat that we booked for the day. With so many boats around, I would find it difficult to chill. We did not stay on the beach, there are much better beaches within 15 minutes drive away. Saying that, when we returned with our boat around 6pm, it was very quiet and I gather the local restaurants are very nice especially on that have parties on a Tue and fri evening. May come back for that.

The day we visited, it was very busy with lots of tourists. If you are taking a boat trip then most offer free parking. Otherwise, it was difficult to find a space.

In conclusion, this is not a beach I would travel there specially for.

Nice little area around the port with few places to dine and drink. The beach is very small and rocky doesn’t really feel like a beach to me but it’s only personal opinion. Would sooner travel another 10/15mins go to xigia beach. The restaurant over the see is beautiful though with very tasty food.

It’s a very photogenic location. It has many cute places to eat and take photos at. The water is also very clear. It would be a good place for families to visit!

This is a small beach with free sun loungers , some a bit broken so make sure you get one that is ok . Take jellies to wear in the sea as it's very rocky . You can park your car close by for free .

Clear water, nice nature and good place to start a boat trip or rent your own boat. Little bit far from Laganas
