We booked with Skellig Walker cruises nearly 3 months ahead (and paid a small deposit) because of the good reviews and the type of boat. 3 days before our cruise date, we received an e-mail advising that “our system allowed a number of bookings for...More

Went to Skellig Michael on the Skelligwalker boat in July 2018. What a great trip! Operators were awesome! Took us close up around the two skelligs and then landed us on Skellig Michael. Cannot say enough about this operator and about Skellig Michael. It was...More

I really enjoyed visiting the skelligs, and I'm happy I got to see the islands from on a boat instead of doing the hike on Skellig Michael like I originally would have. Especially if your short on time, the trip, which only takes a few...More

Based on my experience, the boats don't stay docked. They drop passengers off and pull away; the seas are too rough to stay at the dock.

Yes a toilet, full facilities ashore before you board. Water provided. Comfortable, airplane business class style seats inside. Built in seating outside. The newest boat going to Skellig, built locally.

The boat leaves from The Skellig Experience Visitor Centre, Coarha More, Valentia Island, Co. Kerry. It's just across the bridge from Portmagee village.
