Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I rented a Piaggio Beverly 350 for three days. The Bike, the Jacket (5 Euros per day), Gloves and Helmet were all in good condition.
The shop owner showed me the best routes across the island, and lined them out on a map. The bike has plenty of power, even for overtaking on the motorway.
It's very agile, so it's perfect for the million corners the roads in the mountains have to offer. Great experience. Great guy. Again please!

If you want to have your holiday feeling squeezed out of you by a lying, horrible person who tries to take your last euro, do come here. NEVER AGAIN.
Prices are different in the brochure than in reality.

We hired a Kawasaki J300 Scooter recently and the whole booking experience was great from start to finish. Everything was done via email after checking the website out and the scooter itself was well maintained and clean. Dealing with Jose was pleasant, he is a nice guy and I would thoroughly recommend Moto and Bike Rent. If you are looking for a bigger bike, they seem yo have loads there, right upto GS1250. Prices were good too.

I rented a BMW GS800 4 days to explore Gran canarian roads. Absolutely fantastic 4 days. The staff on Moto and bike rental were very proffesional and nice with many years of experience. The bike was in very good condition. The service was good and they gave me tips for places to visit with nice roads. I delivered my bike back after 4 days and the guys just walked around the bike to see it was not crashed, and welcomed me back..

I can recomend Moto and Bike, Playa del Ingles. 5 stars from me.

We spent 7 days at Amadores, Gran Canaria and rented 4 motorcycles at moto & bike Puerto Rico. Jose picked us up at our appartement and we received 4 bikes (from V-Strom 650 to BMW F800GS). The rental used 60 minutes, and was very nice. They showed us in detail a map of Gran Canaria and we checked online the wind speed map, they explained us what places to avoid due to storm and where the best roads are. On the last day, the return lasts 10 minutes and Jose dropped us at our appartement. A perfect service.

We hired 2 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid Bikes from this company for over a week. When we arrived, there was a long chat about what we wanted to do and to decide which bikes were best for us. We were very impressed with the quality, they are clearly well kept and we was happy to wait next door at the cafe because the chap wanted to spend a little more time servicing the brake on one of the bikes because it had previously been taken into sand. (The cafe next door serves lovely food with a friendly service). The young guy told us where to bike based on our chat and gave us some good tips.

We returned the next day because we realised that we enjoyed watching the sunset on Andores Beach and riding back and we was concerned it was getting dark (we are in October so the sun sets early). The chap didn’t have any lights available but the next day as we were wizzing past he let us know that he had found some which was perfect.

We used the bikes to take the GC500 to Amadores beach a few times. Note this same road is closed before Puerto de Morgan and is unlikely to open again for a long time.

One day we took the GC500 to Arguineguin then the GC505 up the mountains. The road gradually going up the mountains was hardly noticeable on this bike, when you get to Las Flipinas there is a hard climb but before this you will see loads of bikes up and down this
Lower part of the road. Note. if you are going to continue to the Soira view point past las Flipinas then ensure you stop at the bar at the side of the road at Cercado de Espino because there is no where to stop for refreshments until Soira. We kept going on the Luga Barranquilla Andres but admit this was virtually impossible to bike, it isn’t far ( I promise) for the beautiful, easy decent road that takes you to Mogan.

Rented bikes on 2 separate occasions on our trip. Federico was very helpful and friendly. Even took the time to show us routes on the map into the mountains. Could not fault the bikes ran extremely well. Would recommend highly.

Really really unhappy with the service we didn’t get to receive.
Got a taxi from our hotel to the rental place, had to wait around because they opened an hour and a half later because it was a bank holiday which is fair enough not a problem. The guy then finally turned up 15 minutes late. After he finished dealing with a few people behind us we got talking about what I’d like to rent. Was looking to rent a motorbike of 500cc or up, nothing in particular. When I showed him my license (I only have a U.K A category license, I only ride motorbikes) he said that my license wasn’t valid to ride motorcycles in Spain I had to have a A1 license?? Sure A1 is for motorbikes up to 250cc?
Since tried to call their other office but no one will answer. Really disappointed because I was really excited to do this been looking forward to it all holiday. Really just feel like the guy was misinformed.
Shame as I’ve just paid €24 in taxis for essentially nothing.
I’m not saying don’t go there I’m just saying expect to be turned away unless you have every category on your license full.

We hired cycles from Jose at Moto Bikes for 10 days. I’m not a seasoned cyclist so he advised on nybrid bikes so I’d get an extra gear and boy did I need it. 10 days of heavy duty cycling that my husband loved and I survived is great for getting fitter. Jose was great at advising us on routes even showing us on his computer. Jose had normal bikes Lis road bikes but he was very busy so might be worth booking up before you go. This area is a Mecca for serious cyclists but if like me you are fairly fit and willing to have a go at the hills the scenery is breathtaking and well worth it.
