Gomeda valley is a beautiful hiking valley, with lots of greenery, multitudes of singing birds, cave dwellings galore and NO TOUR GROUPS. We started at Mustafapasa end, hike is gentle and very peaceful. If you want to get away from zoo of Göreme open air museum (still worth doing) and enjoy natural Cappadocia, this will charm you.

This was one of the best things we did on our trip to Turkey and we didn't even plan it. We ended up going because our balloon trip in Urgup was cancelled (we only had one day planned, then back to Istanbul). We did some research and found this place. It was truly amazing. The parts that are the best... More

Breath taking! The three sisters, Gorem, the underground cities and the food is incredible in this area of Turkey!

Balloon ride Iin the Gomeda Valley was very exciting. Not cheep $200, but worth every penny. Our captain was experienced. Felt safe at all times. The sunrise in the valley was exceptional. The up and down ride in the hour and half was beautiful

We had been driving around and decided to stop for some photos about Mustafapasa village. We saw a sign for Gomeda and decided to visit some of the ruins at the top of this secluded valley. I think it would be best to get a guide to vist the valley properly as it is a bit off the beaten track.... More

This area of Turkey was absolutely amazing, as was all that we saw of this wonderful country. We had a Tour guide for two days and she showed us around most of the incredible sights in Cappadocia. Our highlight was our Balloon ride which I would highly recommend.

Beautiful, desolate area. During our 3 hours (walking the entire time) in the valley we saw 2 people. There are many cave dwellings along the route and the top part of a he hike is beautiful and interesting. However, the directions we received from the hotel were not adequate and the trail is not well marked, as others have noted.... More

We visited this valley as we'd heard that it was like the Ilhara Valley but quieter and smaller. Admittedly, we do like quiet places. We walked along the rough vehicle track enjoying the peace, but that peace was soon broken by several groups of 4x4's driving at a fast pace along the track. Music was blaring from the inside, they... More
