Vertical Blue Adventures is situated on the stunning historic harbour town of Porthleven. Ideally positioned to take full advantage of the stunning coastline that surrounds Cornwall. Paddle boarding, Kayaking and Mountain biking, as well as hire, sales and tours. We have something to suit everyone so come along and say hi!

Activities with Vertical Blue are an absolute must if you are anywhere near Porthleven.
Having had so much fun Ocean sea kayaking and paddle boarding in the Summer holidays.
We returned this October half term for coasteering and paddleboarding in Porthleven harbour
Nothing is too much trouble Ian even scheduled a paddleboarding lesson especially for us
Everything about Vertical blue is first class tuition from Ian is fantastic and so much fun.
Without doubt we will be back for more next year regards johnny

As a family we can thoroughly recommend the team at Vertical Blue Adventures experienced professional instructors who combine safety, excitement and fun in all of their activities. This is our second year that we have used their services. This year a fun refresher SUP session with instructors Darren and Blake then our two had the confidence to head out to the entrance of the outer harbour. and the open sea. On the Sunday morning off on a sea kayaking tour. We will definitely return next time we are in Porthleven.

Today whilst swimming in Porthleven Harbour, our 12 year old niece sustained injuries from a dog. Ian and Sean was absolutely fantastic and came to our assistance to administer first aid provide hot chocolate to our niece who was in shock and very upset. We were not their customers but that did not matter, they were genuinely lovely caring people. We live local and fully recommend them. Thank you all very much, we will be back to hire equipment and have more fun in the harbour.

Fantastic opportunity for our boys to try out Paddle boarding. Vertical Blue has all the equipment for hire and Ian gave us safe and clear instructions and encouraged as much fun as we could handle. Really good value for money and felt safe at all times. Would definitely recommend, and we are already planning our return next year.

My son has always wanted to try SUP so we hired a board for an hour (£15), he has his own wetsuit so no need to hire one but that an option if you need one. He had so much fun that we returned as a family the following day to hire 4 plus a wetsuit. We had so much fun in the harbour and would recommend anyone to have a go at SUP. Lessons are available but we were not pressurised into having these.

Amazing experience, exceeded all expectations. Fun for the whole family. Wildlife incredible … falcons in the wild. Will definitely do it again. Special shout out to our guide Sean, who was cool , calm & collected. We had so much fun while feeling totally safe. Thank you! See you next time !

Excellent afternoon out climbing rocks and jumping into the sea. Really well organised and lots of fun.
Every year we use Vertical Blue for a trip from SUPs, kayaks and coastertering and they are value for money and always rememberable.

We had the most amazing afternoon thanks to Ian at Vertical Blue Cornwall-SUP. We had an amazing kayak along the coast from Porthoustock to Porthkerris and Manacle Point. We held comb jellyfish, ate seaweed, let anemones nibble our fingers and had a close up look at a spider crab. It was awesome 🦀🪼❤️

A* Excellent tuition and encouragement from Ian. Whilst I had my own kayak Ian had great P&H kayaks of all sizes for his students. Ian balanced fantastically fun with encouragement and a friendly can do attitude. I was particularly keen to learn emergency protocols if kayaking on my own and Ian stayed back with me and talked us all through emergency drills. We got back in the water and he carefully helped me through capsize drills recommending additional equipment I might look at should I be kayaking on my own.
Also recommend as Ian proved a great communicator on texts and emails with friendly advice.

A great morning kayaking with Ian. He made it fun and informative and helped us out as beginners. He took us to some great places including a beautiful secluded beach 😊 highly recommend Vertical Blue

Hi there. 5 year olds are still a little small for some of the activities we supply. However if you wanted your little one can join you on a kayak tour sitting in your sit on top kayak in-between your legs. Super safe and loads of fun.
