It is amazing to see the boats and small ships to lay down at the seabottom clay during the low time of the tide and how refloat at the high tide

No visit to the seaside is complete without a stroll on the pier. Unfortunately weather was against but even in the rain and wind it was a nostalgica reminder of english piers in their hayday.

We spent an hour on this lovely pier looking at the sea and playing on the amusements. A little gem.

This has to be the worst pier we’ve ever been on! It was terrible! Why is it taking so long to fix?? It’s so dark and unappealing inside. Walked to the end of the arcades and there was 4 scummy teenage girls climbing in the...More

The grand pier is building itself back up after devastating storms in 2014. There are traditional games as well as slot machines and computer games. We spent a few hours on the 2p machines winning tickets and sweets; the simple things bring such pleasure. Would...More

Great place to entertain the kids, especially on a rainy day, plenty of machines, you'll need plenty of coins.

Teignmouth Pier used to be truly "grand" catering to all. Now the so called Grand Pier is just a sad joke catering to a minority market. Hit by storms in 2014 half its length has been closed to the public ever since. Two supports have...More

Well in Teignmouth for the day we popped into this pier.. The arcade was great fun for all ages, won a few key rings out of the 2p machines. End of pier was closed which was a shame.
