Ok for live music, but that is where it stops. One female toilet (that is actually a disabled loo) so unless you possess a she-wee don’t bother, on a busy night you need to anticipate a trip to the loo, at least 15-20 mins before...More

Always have a good pint and clearly the beer is well kept but it totally needs a revamp as it’s just so dated!

An enjoyable Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon at the Blue! Live music in their garden to boot, excellent ale served by polite courteous staff and a good mug of tea upon request! A well managed establishment with clean and organised facilities. 100% recommend this hostelry.

The landlady and landlord clearly work hard to keep up the high standard at the blue anchor. They have the best selection of booze I have seen (gin being my favourite , which are also 35ml measures ) the log fire is a brilliant bonus...More

Love this place. We live in Torquay but often visit Teignmouth especially for live music and a fun night out. The Blue gives this in abundance. They often have live music and beer festivals which gives the place a great atmosphere. We have also been...More

Great Christmas decorations. Very nice ale and a well kept pool table. There are some very good players in here friendly but hard to beat.
